As I was processing a distant Christa Healing Method® session that I just received the other day, it occurred to me that it might be helpful to share some thoughts about the "post-healing session processing process."

Each healing session will be slightly different, but some will definitely require more conscious and other-than-conscious post-healing session processing than others. Often I find that the hardest ones to process are those that either have a really strong emotional component or those that come from the deeper, more remote levels of one's energy system. Sometime it depends on how "attached" you are to what's being released. If the attachments are strong or deep, the letting go at all levels and allowing things to shift as a result of the releases can be a challenge.

I have found that it is usually very helpful to listen to a healing session two to three times in order to process the work fully. That’s why I record all the sessions I do with people, even if done in-person rather than at a distance. I know from my own time on the table during an in-person healing that it’s difficult to stay fully present during the whole time. Having a recording to listen to can help to fill in any gaps in conscious awareness you may have experienced during your in-person healing session! Sometime I even transcribe my healings because the act of listening that intently and typing the words and seeing them “in print” seems to help the work sink in more fully.

The goal of the “post-healing session processing process” is integrate the work of the healing session into all levels of your energy system and into your consciousness so that you effect (bring about) the positive changes in your life that you are trying to make and actually live a more fulfilling and enjoyable life.

Over the years my husband and I have outfitted our "self-improvement /healing/spiritual growth" toolbox with lots of different tools that can help the post-healing session processing process. Chief among the ones that I strongly recommend to clients are MAP – the White Brotherhood Medical Assistance Program and EFT – the Emotional Freedom Technique. Of all the things we've tried over the years – and there have been many! – these are the tools we turn to the most because we get positive results.

While there really is nothing out there that can do what the Christa Healing Method® can do in terms of getting at the CAUSES of dysfunction, stuckness, etc., we have found that the work that we do with the Christa Healing Method® is greatly enhanced by these other tools.

What I like about MAP – the White Brotherhood Medical Assistance Program are 1) it can help tremendously with the integration process that needs to happen after a healing session, including and especially with the physical body, which can have the hardest time accepting the changes that happen at the other levels; and 2) I absolutely love the “Healing Calibration Process” that can be used with a regular MAP session or on it’s own. I have found this to be one of the best ways to integrate shifts at the emotional/mental levels.

What I really like about EFT – the Emotional Freedom Technique is how it can help get you over the hump on a issue that you’re struggling to integrate as well as help you “program in” the positive beliefs and affirmations that you desire or need after removal of the negative programs, beliefs and patterns done during your Christa Healing Method® session.

Another great use that I have found with EFT is that it helps to cut through the small mind’s ideas about what’s going on with a particular situation – like “Why am I so angry right now?” – and gets me to a place were I have a clearer sense of what the real issue is and that I can then take care of or look at more deeply in a Christa Healing Method® session.

My husband has used EFT a lot more than I have – mainly because he has to rely on me to do his Christa Healing Method® sessions whereas I can do Christa clearing work on myself – and he’s used it to really help himself move forward on some really tough issues in his life. Because it’s been so valuable to him, he’s always urging me to tell my clients about EFT.

Again, no one tool is right for all situations; but I highly recommend that you gather as many helps in your own healing/spiritual development toolbox as possible to help you get the most out of the Christa Healing Method® sessions that you do. For many people journaling is a very helpful processing and integration tool. It’s also helpful to just simply take to someone else about your healing, to help you process it out-loud. Just make sure that the person who you’re sharing with is a true supporter and friend and is okay with you talking about subjects that a lot of “unawake” people might be uncomfortable with, such as past lives, energy cordings to others or “outside negative energies.”

This out-loud processing can even include official “talk therapy,” especially with a therapist who understands “energy” and that we are energetic beings consisting of spiritual, mental, emotional and physical levels.

But even if you work with a therapist who doesn’t understand energy – and who might not be so open to a spiritual perspective like one gets from the Christa Healing Method® – you can still use the talk therapy tool to help you process what’s going on and help you see areas that you might want to take a deeper look at within a Christa Healing Method® session. You needn’t share all the details of your Christa Healing work in a therapy session in order for the therapy process to be helpful to your deeper, spiritual healing process.

Just remember that the Christa Healing Method® is looking behind the scenes as to what is causing pain, dysfunction, stuckness, fear, etc. and it’s going to look deeper than what other healing modalities, including talk therapy, know how to look at and interpret.

Know as well that I am available -- although not unlimitedly! – to help you in your post-healing session processing process. I’m happy to answer questions or explain things that might be confusing or hard to understand. Often a brief email exchange or a short phone conversation can help clarify things quite a bit. I’ve done A LOT of personal healing work over the years and so I’ve got a lot of direct experience with the overall healing process.

Another point to make on this whole “post-healing session processing process” is that for someone who is either a serious spiritual seeker OR who is actively undergoing the spiritual awakening process, once a particular healing session has been processed and integrate, it is quite common for the next set of issues to come forward fairly quickly. If you’re not aware that this can happen, you may find yourself wondering why, several weeks after your healing session you’re not feeling as good or as positive as you did shortly after your healing session. It’s because MORE has come forward for release!

I also like to remind clients that although Spirit and your guides may be continually urging you to keep moving forward in your healing and spiritual development process, you are ultimately in charge of that process. This means that you need to take charge of it and know when you need a break! Spirit will present things to you as quickly as you can clear and integrate them, but you need to go at a pace that you can spiritually, mentally, emotionally, psychically AND physically handle. This piece alone is huge part of the process of growing in self-awareness and getting in your personal power.

On the other hand, if you start to slack off and dog it, know that Spirit will find some way to give you the proverbial kick in the pants. This is particularly true for those who have been attuned to the Level One of the Christa Energy and who have done their work with that Energy. Part of its “job” is to help you awaken and heal and get in touch with your Soul’s purpose AND it takes that job very seriously! The key is to pay attention enough so that the kick doesn’t need to be dramatic, such as a serious illness or the loss of a loved one.

Well, I hope that these “thoughts to share” are helpful to you. I invite you to comment or share your own insights as well.

Namaste,
Julia

I just returned yesterday from a trip to Colorado for the 3-day Christa Healing Method® Intensive Training Workshop that Adriene Wentworth teaches every year. These workshops always prove to be a huge boost to the skills and confidence and spiritual development process of all who attend and this year's workshop was no exception! I look forward to using my newly gain skills and expanded knowledge and abilities for the benefit of all of my clients and friends.

What is especially fun for me is that these workshops are open to all who sincerely seek to learn about how the Christa Healing Method®, regardless of their experience level with the Method or the other spiritual development tools that Adriene offers. So there was a mix of people, from a few "golden oldies" like myself to a couple of people for whom this way of doing spiritual healing and spiritual development is pretty new. (No, they weren't completely blown out of the water!!) I also got to see many familiar and friendly faces, those folks who've also been using this very powerful and comprehensive healing tool for many years now to advance their own spiritual journey and to help others.

What many people may not realize is that even if you do not plan to be a spiritual healer yourself – someone who does healing sessions with others for a living – you'll want to learn this healing method just for your own personal and spiritual process and perhaps help a few open and receptive friends and family members. You can make great progress in your own process when you are empowered with knowledge and the skills to actually and regularly clear things on your own rather than having to rely on an appointment with a "trained practitioner" to deal with every piece that comes forward for release!

Those of us who are trained, professional practitioners of the Christa Healing Method® feel no need whatsoever to monopolize the use of this phenomenally effective healing tool! We know from personal experience the tremendous value of being able to "do a scraping" on oneself! (A "scraping" is slang for a Christa Healing session!) In fact, it's almost a necessity if one really wants to gain all that can be gained with this healing method.

We also know how critically important it is to work with someone with more experience, skill, training, and objectivity for those inevitable times when we're just too stuck or too bowled over by what's coming forward for release to do the work on ourselves.

To those of you who have already taken the plunge and tested the waters of the Christa Healing Method® through personal healing sessions, classes and the Spiritual Energy Attunements that I offer either already know or suspect that the "Christa Healing Path," when taken seriously, is a lot of work! But you know why that is?

It's because of ALL THAT CAN BE DONE and ACCOMPLISHED with this path!  The Christa Healing Method® is equipped to take you as far along the spiritual development path as you feel ready to go at any given time. AND it will urge you, challenge you and support you to go FAR BEYOND what you can currently imagine as possible for yourself in both the holistic healing process and the spiritual development process!

That's a huge part of my job as a trained professional spiritual healer and teacher: Helping you imagine more for yourself and of yourself. And I love doing it and am honored when you allow me to assist you in your healing and spiritual development process!

Namaste,
Julia

I know I'd planned to share some thoughts on Free Will in this week's entry, but time got away from me and so instead I'm going to post a explanation about what it means to work in co-creative partnership with Nature and Spirit that I wrote as a sidebar for my home page.
Happy reading  and until next week – Namaste,
Julia

To work in co-creative partnership with Nature and Spirit means connecting to and directly communicating with not only one's Spirit Guides, but also with the Intelligences in Nature that are responsible for providing the "matter, means and actions" needed to bring all soul-initiated intentions into form.

That's really not as complicated as it sounds! It simply means that if I, as a human Soul, want to create something – like a business, or a book, or a vegetable garden – my creation will be more aligned and in balance with my Soul's purpose and with the Laws of Nature, if I receive input and guidance from both my Spirit Guides and from Nature.

Another term for working with Nature and Spirit in this way is co-creative gardening. To Nature a garden is any activity or creation initiated and directly by human intent and for a specific human-determined purpose. So gardens can be based in soil, like a vegetable garden, a flower garden or a field of alfalfa. But they can also be "soil-less": books, businesses, a watercolor painting, a website, a car, a planet, a job, a science experiment, etc., etc.

This makes more sense once you realize that Nature is more than rocks, rivers, trees, insects, flowers, etc. Everything that has form – whether we can detect it with our 5 senses or not – is NATURE! The means the computer I'm writing on is Nature, the carpet on the floor is Nature, the plastic of my keyboard is Nature.

Nature is a specific expression of Conscious Intelligence and Nature's specialty is balance and form. And so when I consciously bring Nature into my work, I am guided on how to best ways to create balance at multiple levels in my work. I do this so that I'm not creating "unintended consequences" that can throw other parts of my life off balance or that negatively impact the balance of the other "wholes" that I participate in, including Universal Consciousness.

In essence, Nature and Spirit are my business partners for the "Center for Healing Partnerships." And we communicate through something called a coning, created by Nature for multi-level communication.

A coning is not only like a secure conference call, it's also the conference room. Only those who are part of the coning are participating in the "meeting." I'm the one who sets up the coning and the one who directs the meeting. When in a coning, my partners and I communicate through the use of simple yes/no questions via applied kinesiology. And, because I've also developed a close relationship with my partners, communication also happens through intuition, which I actively work to cultivate and expand.

Nature and my Spirit Guides do not dictate what I am do or don't do with my business or my life. It's still my creation and it's still my responsibility to decide what is right for me and when, but my experience over the past 16 years of working with Nature and Spirit in this conscious, co-creative way tells me that I sure want to get their input if I want to "do things up right." I cannot image doing life or working in any other way!

How did I learn about co-creative partnerships and soil-less gardening? From the work of Machaelle Small Wright and Perelandra Center for Nature Research. Check it out for yourself at http://www.perelandra-ltd.com/index.cfm.

Wednesday, 03 June 2009
In last week's entry I mentioned the fact that when our friends first presented us with the "news" that we'd known each other before in several past lives, I kind of freaked out a bit. This was in 1992 and I was still pretty rooted in the conventional western, Judeo-Christian paradigm. But I was also on the verge of making some pretty big shifts in my life and having the notion of past lives put squarely in front of me only helped to widen the cracks of openness that were beginning to appear within me.

I chuckle now when I think back to my reactions at the time. It's not like I'd done a major investigation into the whole idea of past lives and found the concept lacking credibility! No, I just had vague notions of what it meant, that it had something to do with another notion called "karma" and that it was something that Hindus and Buddhists and such believed. It also seemed that lots of people who were enthralled with their past lives usually claimed to have been someone famous – or infamous! – in a past life and that always stuck me as just their personal delusions. I wasn't even really sure what the "official" verdict was from the Church's perspective. I just knew that western Christians didn't believe in past lives. It wasn't what "we" considered to be the Truth . . .

But mostly, from a personal standpoint, I was concerned about what the concept of past lives meant in relationship to the fierce belief I had – and still hold – about Free Will. Any ideas or beliefs that seemed to undermine my God-given Free Will were met with great resistance on my part. And it's not that I was one of those theologians who were into being an apologist for mainstream Christian dogma and doctrine. I've always been a questioner and challenger to so-called authority figures. Even in high school. On one occasion as a senior in our religion class on marriage and family, the priest teaching the course made some sexist comment, pronouncing it as if it were just a given, and I responded with an indirect, but very audible "Bulls___t!" My classmates were shocked! And so was the priest, who really didn't know how to respond so unexpected was my challenge to what he'd said!

So again, it's not like I was a fierce defender of Church teachings. But I had thoroughly absorbed and taken to heart the Christian assumption that "this is the only life you have so make the best of it or pay the consequences." And while I took this seriously, I was also quite troubled by it. For one thing, it created within me a pathological fear of making mistakes, of making the wrong decisions, the residual effects of which I still must consciously deal with as I live my current life. When I did allow myself to think of this idea that we have only one chance to "get it right with God" it stuck me as really unfair! Even more, it really seemed to undermine the whole point of God creating us with Free Will. It really felt like a set-up and that didn't seem right. Something in the western Judeo-Christian paradigm seemed off kilter. But what?

When the cracks in my existing mental frameworks began to widen and I began to open my mind to what the concept of past lives was really all about, I had an epiphany: this current life of mine isn't my ONLY chance to "get things right with God!" WOW!

I cannot describe the sense of release and freedom this realization created within me as someone who'd always been a very serious "student" of theology, and not just for academic purposes, but out of  deep personal desire to know and understand God and myself in relationship to God. With this epiphany, however, the crippling grip of needing to be perfect and not make mistakes broke and crumbled at my feet. And, more importantly I started to have a greater understand of who and what I TRULY was as a BEING created in the image and likeness of God.

And so, in my work with clients and students, I am very upfront about the whole past life issue. And this is the gist of what I share with them:

First and foremost, you are a Spiritual Being, a Soul – an individuated spark of God Consciousness that was birthed forth from the Source, from Mother/Father God – that is capable of taking on “form” in order to “experience" life. Our physical bodies are just one of the “vehicles” through which we can experience the many myriad realms of God's creation.

And so, sooner or later, when we start to wake up to the fullness of who we are as Spiritual Beings, we start to wake up to the FACT that as a Soul, we have had many, many different “life” experiences and at many different levels and dimensions of existence. And, for many of these experiences we have chosen to incarnate into a PHYSICAL BODY and we have done this many times and for many different reasons.

But when I’m talking about “reincarnation” I’m not talking about it as religious belief as understood say within Hinduism or Buddhism. I’m talking about it as the simple FACT that YOU are an eternal Soul that is capable of taking on human physical form, a form that has a finite duration, which we call a lifetime. And, whether you consciously remember this or not, you have incarnated or taken on a physical vehicle -- MANY, MANY, MANY times -- and not just on Planet Earth!

If the idea of past lives and reincarnation is a challenging concept for you to get your mind around, it's likely butting up against the belief systems or world views that you’ve been taught or absorbed. But I challenge you to consider that reincarnation is not a "belief." It is a Universal Truth. It is the reality of who we are as Souls.

AND, [here's the really important part] when we are able to wake up out of the sleep that we tend to fall into when we come into a body on this Planet where the general consciousness is very low and compacted, when we are able to REMEMBER our true nature as a Soul who has had many, many lifetimes and experiences, we are then able to open up to levels of the healing and spiritual development process that are otherwise closed to us when we do not have an awareness of this Truth about our Soul’s journey.

My bottom line, then, on the whole past life issue is that by opening mentally to this Truth, we allow ourself to heal and grow and serve in deeper and more expansive ways than are available to us when we still think of ourselves in a small, one-life way. It seems like so much "existential angst" could be dissipated by opening to this greater understanding of who we are.

And while someday I may expound more on this point, let me conclude this story of my Soul's journey by saying that my heart rests a lot easier because I did finally wake up and open to the Truth of myself as an Eternal Soul created with genuine Free Will by a Loving and Great God who gives me opportunity after opportunity to freely choose on the side of Love in all that I do and who does not judge or condemn me when I fall short of what I am capable of.

On that note, I'll sign off for this week.

Namaste,
Julia
